Handcrafted by artisans in Mexico using upcycled premium leather and lined with stunning vintage fabrics sourced from all over the world, no Au Mexique x Skavenger bag is created equal. Each bag is unique with no silhouette, leather, or textile combination that repeats itself. The collection incorporates a wide range of bright colors, classic neutrals, rich textures, and linings that are composed of vintage brocade kimono silks from Japan, novelty cotton fabrics from the 1940s-1970s, and runoff designer fabrics from factories in Italy that print textiles for various fashion houses.
